Save the seas

Being close to the sea has always given me energy, strength and calm and our seas are so incredibly important to us humans in so many ways. Not just for recreation but they are essential for the fight against climate change. The world ocean absorbs and binds as much carbon as the global transport sector releases in one year. The earth's surface consists of three quarters of the ocean and produces more than half of all oxygen in the atmosphere. Without the seas we will not survive!

 

Despite this, we are destroying our seas through littering, emissions of environmental toxins, overfishing, eutrophication and increased shipping. Therefore, in 2020 I will donate 10% of all sales of "SEAWAY" to the World Wildlife Fund WWF's work to Save the Seas.

 

I have chosen WWF over other charities because only 10% of all funds raised goes to administration which means that a lot of money goes to the actual work that can really make a difference.
