Like the old landscape painters, I am fascinated by nature. Especially the Nordic landscape, the contrasts and the tranquility. I like to photograph the typical characteristics of the landscapes but maybe not the obvious motives. If I am in Gotland I prefer to shoot anything but roses, rauks and ring wall. Although they are beautiful in themselves, I would love to photograph those other places; those that are at least as beautiful but may not get as much attention.

 

I like when something sticks out a little in the picture, or the title of the same, for those contrasts that make you feel something. To remember. Maybe you have some special memory from the place in the picture or you just like the feeling. The most important thing is that you find a picture that speaks to you just as it did to me when I photographed it.
